Heyyy!
It’s been one hot summer and my skin is a mess! I’ve always tended to get a bit of breakout in this kinda weather due to sweat on my face and I can always feel my skin literally itching and tingling where it’s gonna happenย ๐ This year though, the heat has left my skin super dehydrated – I’m from Scotland, I’m not built for this lol. So now it’s cracked, dried-out, and with spots ๐ฃ
Figuring out I need to target specific areas, I tried out this spot treatment which is literally a spot treatment lol.
I’ve had Nip + Fab’s Teen Spot Zap for aaaagees after buying it on offer when it was ยฃ3.99 (pretty sure it was from Superdrug), but I never used it after seeing it was a rollerball.
I’m pretty dubious about using a rollerball on spots as I feel it can’t be that hygenic, I mean, the ball is touching the spots then rolling back in and mixing with all the spot treatment? It just doesn’t seem that great an idea, but with my skin like this, I decided to use anything I thought could help.
Smell? This little guy smells quite fresh, it contains wasabi and I think when you know that you can pick up the scent. It’s not a lingering smell though, so don’t worry about smelling of it throughout the day if you use it in your morning routine.
Soooo, it’s been about 4 weeks of this weather, I’ve been using this with Nip + Fab’s Dragon Blood Wipes and do actually think my skin has improved.
I’ve been using the Spot Zap just on my spot-prone areas and where I feel that breakout-itch, and my chin (always a spot-prone area for me) definitely hasn’t been as spotty as usual, especially for summer when I’m even more prone to spots.
I will continue to use this til it’s done and then update with any further findings, but overall, despite my worries, this has definitely helped so far ๐
